A former Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has said that the main opposition political party has shown through their communication that they have no special strategy for marketing the running mate to John Dramani Mahama, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
According to him, the NDC has been very poor with communication around the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
“And this is a sign that she is just a bad product the NDC is bringing to the market for the 2024 elections,” he said.
He further called on the NDC to consult people like him for marketing ideas since they are bereft of one.
“Their marketing strategy is not there. If I was the one there selling the women, my brother you will clap for me. They do not know and don’t apply knowledge to whatever they are doing,” he said.
The vociferous NPP Communicator further questioned the idea behind the selection of a retired educationist to partner John Mahama who has never been a good product for the political market.
Jane Opoku Agyemang was named as the running mate of John Mahama after she received a unanimous endorsement by the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the party.
