Presidential candidate for the United Front Party (UFP), Akwasi Addae, popularly known as Odike has criticised the government’s recently launched performance tracker that seeks to improve transparency and accountability in the completion of infrastructure projects nationwide.
According to the presidential hopeful, the government tracker data launched by President Akufo-Addo contains a lot of loopholes and emphasised the need to have a second look into the tracker.
Odike, a critic of the Akufo-Addo-led government highlighted the loopholes of the tracker during Monday’s edition of the Angel Morning Show.
Among the listed items the UFP leader said were excluded from the performance tracker included the National Cathedral project, the failed fight against illegal mining also known as ‘galamsey’ burning of galamsey excavators, and the excess borrowing.
