Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency, has stated that Alan Kyeremanten’s bid to become president wouldn’t bring anything new to Ghana.
Mr Alexander Ackuaku stated that Alan Kyeremanten has been very instrumental in the current political dispensation pointing out that, he served as the longest Trade and Industry Minister but unfortunately hasn’t been able to make any positive impact in the sector.
“We have witnessed all that Alan can do and his track record as Trade Minister is not something good to write home about,” he told Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah on the Angel Morning Show on Monday, April 29, 2024.
He added that Mr Alan Kyerematen who is the leader for the Movement for Change political group, can not disassociate himself from the New Patriotic Party, claiming that they are all the same.
According to him, Alan Kyeremanten was a key member of the NPP when they used slogans to deceive Ghanaians in 2020 and his departure from the NPP is a mere misunderstanding of the refusal to allow him lead the NPP.
He warned that, “If you are deciding to vote for Alan, you are just wasting your vote because he has nothing new to offer.”
