Ghana skipper Andre Ayew continues scoring run in Ligue 1

Ghana captain Andre Ayew added another goal to his recent streak, contributing to Le Havre’s essential 3-1 triumph over Strasbourg, lifting them further away from the Ligue 1 drop zone.

Having previously registered a goal in Le Havre’s exhilarating 3-3 stalemate against champions Paris Saint-Germain, Ayew once again proved instrumental in front of goal, finding the target deep into injury time.

Le Havre gained momentum early on, taking the lead in the 24th minute. Yassine Kechta headed home expertly after connecting with a pinpoint cross delivered by winger Josue Casimir.

Kechta struck again, nodding in another close-range header resulting from Casimir’s enticing delivery from the right wing.
