A former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Weija-Gbawe Municipality in the Greater Accra Region, Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor has reportedly passed away, Angelonline.com.gh can state.
According to reports, the immediate past Weija-Gbawe MCE died after battling a short illness.
He died on Sunday, May 6, 2024, around 20:00 GMT after he was rushed to a hospital for treatment when his condition became worse.
His remains have been deposited at the morgue for preservation.
Mr. Kumor left behind a wife and children.
He was among some MCEs whose appointments were recently terminated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in February this year and was succeeded by Michael Danquah.
He was the first vice chairman of the Weija-Gbawe Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
