Mohammed Kudus’ bicycle kick not enough as Man City clinch historic fourth title in a row

Mohammed Kudus’ heroics at the Etihad Stadium were not enough to prevent Manchester City from winning the 2023/24 Premier League title on Sunday.

However, Rodri sealed the victory for Manchester City on the hour mark. After receiving a cutback from Bernardo Silva, Rodri passed the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards out. Areola managed to get a touch but could not keep it out.

Meanwhile, Arsenal struggled to secure a result against Everton, as they managed a 2-1 win.

Manchester City’s triumph marks their fourth successive Premier League title, a feat unmatched in the league’s history. They finished the season with 91 points, two more than closest contenders Arsenal, who fell short again after last season’s efforts.
