The founder and leader of the United Front Party (UFP), Akwasi Addai Odike, has praised Alan Kyerematen, describing him as an exceptional leader whose caliber is rare.
Appearing on Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Monday, June 24, 2024, Odike extolled Kyerematen’s accomplishments adding that the Flagbearer of the Movement for Change has made unique contributions both in and outside of politics.
“Back in 1994, when Alan was not yet a politician, the world was in search of highly knowledgeable individuals who understood business comprehensively. Alan was among those distinguished few, alongside global figures like Bill Gates. Remarkably, he was the only African on a team tasked with enhancing global markets and economies,” Odike remarked.
He further shared an instance where the United Nations recognized Kyerematen’s expertise by inviting him to Ethiopia to aid in economic improvement.
“Alan was asked by the UN to assist Ethiopia in enhancing their economic systems, and he did an outstanding job,” Odike noted.
Odike also credited Kyerematen with bringing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) headquarters to Ghana.
“Alan played a crucial role in establishing the AfCFTA in Ghana and also securing its headquarters here,” he stated.
He attributed the concept of “One District, One Factory” to Kyerematen, noting his innovative vision.
“The ‘One District, One Factory’ initiative was Alan’s brainchild. When it comes to knowledge, wisdom, and vision, he possesses all these qualities in abundance,” Odike praised.
Odike further described Alan Kyeremanten as a genius and expressed confidence in his leadership potential.
“Alan will enable us to experience true independence when he assumes power,” he declared.
