Nsoatreman FC have booked their spot in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup after securing a 2-0 victory over Elect Sport in the second leg of their preliminary round tie on Saturday.
The Ghanaian FA Cup champions completed a 5-0 aggregate triumph, adding to their impressive 3-0 win from the first leg held last Sunday in Accra.
Playing in Cameroon at a neutral venue due to Elect Sport’s home ground not being CAF-approved, Nsoatreman showed their class and made light work of their Chadian opponents.
The first leg had already showcased their dominance, and the second leg proved no different.
With this victory, Nsoatreman now awaits the outcome of the tie between Constantine and Rwanda’s Police FC. The Algerians hold a 2-0 advantage from the first leg, with the deciding match set for Sunday.
Nsoatreman are making their debut in the Confederation Cup and are eager to advance further. They are poised to face either Constantine or Police in the final stage, with hopes of reaching the group stage in their first attempt.
