West Ham defender Kurt Zouma is on the verge of completing a move to Saudi Pro-League club Al-Orouba, with a medical scheduled soon.
Earlier this summer, Zouma had agreed to a transfer to the United Arab Emirates, but the deal fell through after he failed the medical examination.
Despite this setback, West Ham allowed the 29-year-old to stay in the region to explore other opportunities.
Now, Zouma is close to finalising a move to Al-Orouba, with only the medical left to complete. If he passes, the transfer will be confirmed.
Zouma, who joined West Ham from Chelsea for £29 million in 2021, has made 103 appearances for the Hammers.
He played a key role in their 2023 Europa Conference League final win against Fiorentina and was appointed club captain for the 2023-24 season after Declan Rice’s departure to Arsenal.
