The team held its final training session in Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium on Tuesday afternoon before the dinner in the evening.
“Know very well that you have the support of Ghanaians. Go all out and make us proud,” Akufo-Addo said during his speech to the team
“Government, with the active support of the GFA, has made all the arrangements necessary.
“We have to go further…and bring the 41-year drought to an end. The task might appear daunting but it is possible.”
Ghana will begin their campaign in Ivory Coast on Sunday, January 14, when they face Cape Verde before subsequently playing Egypt and Mozambique.
