Ghana’s Afua Asantewaa has claimed that she has made history as the first woman globally to complete a sing-a-thon attempt.
Afua, in her own words, expressed indifference to the outcome, emphasizing that she is proud to have achieved this extraordinary milestone. Undeterred by any challenges, she has become an inspiration to countless individuals, proving that gender is no barrier to success.
During a recent TikTok live session, Afua Asantewaa addressed her opponents, expressing her frustration with their negative comments.
She confidently stated, “If the outcome is not favorable, I will move on and not be perturbed at all.”
“Those wishing me bad luck: if you are asked to stand on your feet for five minutes, your family would buy a coffin for you. Enough of the criticisms,” she jabbed.
She mentioned a specific example that highlighted her point that some people attempted to break the record, but unfortunately, they couldn’t, and now she deserves to be praised for her efforts.
