Breaking the NDC-NPP duopoly only way to Ghana’s economic freedom – Twum-Barima Adu

An independent presidential aspirant, George Twum-Barima Adu has sworn to break the duopoly of the two leading political parties in Ghana.

Mr Twum-Barima Adu said he has put in place several mechanisms and holds the best of policies that would ensure that he wins the December 2024 polls hands down.

Addressing the leadership of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) in Accra, the vibrant Presidential aspirant said he would transform Ghana for the best when offered the opportunity to govern.

His policies, he explained includes ensuring that the country have a Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) policy which would help boost the country’s production sector.

“I will ensure that all factories and businesses which make use of 70% of the country’s raw materials get major tax cuts so they can continue to utilise our resources, employ more of the youth and continue to generate enough resources to support the country’s economy…,” he told the TUC leadership.

The workers union was full of praise for Mr Twum-Bawumia Adu when he said he will as part of his policy to protecting the liberties of the Ghanaian ensure that the working days is reduced from five to four days while enauring that Ghanaians work from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily.

“Our weekend will then start from Thirsday evening so that Ghanaians can have time and concentrate on other businesses…” he said to a resounding applause.

His e-sika policy which he mentioned will replace the e-levy will ensure that workers have their welfare secured.

To him, the solution to this country’s problems lie in voting out the NPP-NDC and opting for a man of vision like George Twum-Barima Adu.
