Cole Palmer has committed his future to Chelsea by signing a new contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2033.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has secured a nine-year deal with improved terms following a remarkable debut season in west London.
Palmer made an immediate impact after joining Chelsea from Manchester City for £42.5 million last summer, scoring 25 goals and providing 15 assists in 45 appearances.
Chelsea, eager to reward the England international for his outstanding performances, will announce the new deal in the coming days. Palmer also shone on the international stage, scoring in England’s 2-1 Euro 2024 final loss to Spain in July.
Palmer is in the running for both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards, set to be announced next week, and has already claimed the Premier League Young Player of the Season award for 2023-24.
Chelsea will kick off their Premier League campaign on Sunday against Manchester City.
