Spain’s Dani Olmo, fresh from winning the European Championship, has posted an emotional farewell message to RB Leipzig fans, fueling speculation about a move to Barcelona.

Olmo, 26, has been with Leipzig for four years, making a significant impact with his performances. In his social media tribute, he expressed gratitude for his time at the club:

“A young club, a young player… We grew up, won our first trophies, and made history together. Two Cups and the Super Cup are just some of the many unforgettable moments that’ll always stay with me. Thank you @RBLeipzig, you’ll forever be in my heart.”

Olmo’s standout performances in the European Championship, where he filled the void left by injured Pedri, have increased his stock, attracting interest from top clubs.

Barcelona appear to be the frontrunner for his signature, as the club undergoes a rebuilding phase under new coach Hansi Flick following Xavi Hernandez’s departure.
