As part of efforts to beef up their squad for the upcoming season, Asante Kotoko have added former Liberty Profesionals star Elvis Kyei Baffour to their team on a three-year deal.
The attacker was announced as the latest signing of the Porcupine Warriors on Monday with the club underscoring his abilities.
“Asante Kotoko is thrilled to announce the signing of Elvis Kyei Baffour on a three-year contract, following the successful completion of his medical examination in Kumasi,” stated the club.

“The dynamic forward, who most recently played for Avenir Sportif de Soliman in Tunisia and also had a stint with NK Rogaška in Slovenia, joins the Porcupine Warriors, bringing his exceptional talent and international experience to our esteemed club.
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said Kyei Bafour is a player of immense quality and is expected to be a key player for the record Ghana Premier League champions in the upcoming season.

Elvis Kyei Baffour returns to GPL
Elvis Kyei Baffour is admired for his lightning-fast speed, clinical goal-scoring, and impressive technical skills. In the 2019/2020 season, he had a remarkable stint with Liberty Professionals, scoring 8 goals and notching 4 assists in just 15 matches, showcasing his exceptional talent and impact on the pitch.
The 25-year-old who finally makes a return to the local scene after stints in Tunisia and Slovenia is proud to return.
