Former Interior Minister, Mark Owen Woyongo who served under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, has been confirmed dead.
His demise was announced by the head of the Woyongo family on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
A statement signed by the head of the family said the sad news occurred in the late hours of Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Bank of Ghana Hospital.

According to the family, funeral arrangements of the former Member of Parliament who retired from politics in 2016 after his defeat, will be communicated in due time.
Mark Woyongo was a former MP of Navrongo, former Interior Minister, owner, and Chief Executive Officer of Tamale-based Diamond FM.
