Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, announced on social media that his 15-month-old son, Kobe, had passed away.
In his emotional message, Ngannou wrote about how much he loved Kobe and described him as a source of joy and light in his life.
He also mentioned being heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with the sudden death of his young child.

Many figures within the fighting community offered their condolences to Ngannou, including Conor McGregor, who tweeted, “I am so sorry to hear of your loss Francis, my prayers are with you and your family at this time.”
Similarly, Ngannou’s manager, Marquel Martin, shared that millions of people around the world would be sending their thoughts and prayers to the grieving father.
This tragic news follows Ngannou’s recent defeat by Anthony Joshua in a high-profile heavyweight boxing match held in Saudi Arabia.
Despite suffering a crushing blow, Ngannou remained committed to continuing his career in professional boxing rather than returning to mixed martial arts (MMA), where he initially rose to fame.
However, given the circumstances, all eyes are on what lies ahead for Ngannou and his family as they navigate through this difficult period.
