The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced members for its National Zongo Caucus Wing.
The Zongo caucus wing is made up of leadership for various directorates and committees.
The announcement was contained in a statement dated June 26, 2024, and issued by the National Zongo Caucus coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Mamah.
Notable names among the appointees include former Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu and former Minority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mubarak, and Asutifi South MP, Collins Dauda.
According to the statement, they are to serve on the working committee to be chaired by former National Vice Chairman of the party, Alhaji Said Sinare.
It further said that the appointment was made after “extensive consultations and deliberations with the approval of the Party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC).”
