Stormy weather exposed infrastructure issues at Old Trafford during Sunday’s Premier League match between Man United and Arsenal.
The heavy rainfall caused water damage inside the stadium, flooding sections below the stands and along the players’ tunnel. Supporters attending the match were safe, although footage captured the extent of the issue.
The poor condition of the stadium reflects the frustration felt by longstanding concerns about the Glazer family’s management approach during nearly two decades of ownership.
Social media comments criticise the Glazers’ lack of interest in maintaining facilities properly, pointing to the deteriorating aspects of Old Trafford as evidence.
Another supporter echoed similar sentiments online, writing, “Absolutely shameful, exemplifies the negligence the Glazers have exhibited toward the care and improvement of Old Trafford and Carrington.”

Additionally, Man United succumbed to a 1-0 defeat, sustaining their ninth home loss of the season. Critics question manager Erik Ten Hag’s ability to reverse the struggling club’s misfortunes.
