Ghanaian music icon, Ernest Owoahene, better known as Nana Acheampong, has clarified speculations surrounding his alleged rivalry with fellow musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
In an exclusive interview on Angel FM’s Y’adwuma Nie with Ohemaa Woyeje, Nana Acheampong emphatically stated that he has never composed or performed a song directed at Daddy Lumba.
“I have no qualms with Daddy Lumba, so there’s no reason for me to create a song against him”; he further elaborated that none of Daddy Lumba’s songs were targeted at him either,” he said.
He further claimed that it was just mere coincidence that their songs seemed to address similar topics.
“The truth is, we both released songs frequently, and this may lead people to speculate that our music is aimed at each other,” he explained.
