Striker Jonathan Sowah dazzled spectators with a sensational performance, scoring four goals in Al-Nasr Benghazi’s recent triumph over local rivals Al Hilal Benghazi in the Libyan Premier League.
The Ghana international displayed lethal finishing skills and composure as he dispatched an astonishing four goals past the hapless Al Hilal goalkeeper.
The 25-year-old ex-Medeama SC sensation drew first blood for Al-Nasr, converting a third-minute penalty kick before doubling the lead moments later from the same method.
Sowah sealed his maiden treble right on the stroke of halftime. Subsequently, the clinical finisher extended his tally further in the 72nd minute, completing a breathtaking haul.
Following his seamless integration into life at Al-Nasr, Sowah has already plundered five goals alongside furnishing a single assist in seven appearances since his midseason switch from Medeama SC.

Sowah is reportedly set to be included in Ghana’s squad for next month’s crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.
He missed out on the last Black Stars call-up for the international games against Nigeria and Uganda in March after he didn’t feature at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Sowah made his competitive debut for the Black Stars during the World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Comoros, which ended in a 1-0 defeat. Coach Otto Addo is expected to announce the squad for the upcoming qualifiers next week.
Ghana will face Mali in Bamako on June 6 before hosting the Central African Republic in Kumasi on June 10.
