A military helicopter carrying 14 persons has crashed at Bonsukrom in the Agona Nkwanta in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region.
Eyewitnesses report that the helicopter carrying 14 personnel, including staff from the Petroleum sector regulators, crashed into a bush near the Bonsokrom community.
Fortunately, all onboard are safe and have been rescued by the Air Force.
It’s unclear whether the helicopter was en route from offshore to Takoradi or from Takoradi to Accra
