Ghanaian musician and socialite, iamond Michelle Gbagonah, pupularly known as Michy Gh, has said she is okay with the tag ‘Shatta Wale’s ex’.
Michy Gh speaking on the “Day Show” with Berla Mundi, revealed how she coped with the challenges of ending her relationship with Shatta Wale adding that the much publicised breakup was tough for her.
“Everybody knows what I went through, like, a major breakup, public breakup. And that was tough on me from the start. It was. I don’t make it look like that. I actually gained weight during the working hard season. Let’s just say God kept me quite well. It was a learning period, so I took it in good faith,” she said.
Michy who described herself as a ‘reserved and shy person’ also revealed that she likes to isolate herself when she has issues, hence the reason for being absent from the public view.
Michy, formerly Shatta Michy and Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale dated for about eight years before their breakup in 2022.
They have a son together.
