Bofoakwa Tano head coach John Eduafo says it is his goal to clinch the MTN FA Cup title and potentially compete in Africa, after beating Dreams FC in the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Bofoakwa put in a spirited performance at the WAFA Park in Sogakope against the current holders, with some crucial tactical decisions by Eduafo proving to be crucial to their path to potentially making history.
Speaking to the press after the game, Eduafo expressed his belief in his side’s chances of making it to Africa, believing that feat to be a personal achievement and a stepping stone for his team and coaching career.
“Why not? Every coach’s dream is to play and get to the final, win the final and of course go to Africa. So it’s every coach’s dream and it’s also my dream as well to play in the final, win the final and go to Africa”, he said.

Although the final is set to be played in June, Bofoakwa will be turning their attention back to the Ghana Premier League, where they are only one point off the relegation zone.
Eduafo’s side are within reach of representing Ghana on the continent like Dreams FC last season, yet have a lot of responsibility and consistency to show between now and the end of the season.
