This squad will be looking to make a strong impact in what will be Ghana’s seventh appearance at the U-20 Women’s World Cup. Despite their efforts in previous tournaments, the Black Princesses have yet to advance past the group stage, a trend they hope to change this time around.
Black Princesses will compete in Group E, facing Austria, Japan, and New Zealand in the group stage. The tournament begins on August 31, with Ghana’s first match scheduled against Austria on September 2, 2024.
The Black Princesses have already arrived in Colombia, where they received a warm reception from the locals, adding to the excitement and anticipation ahead of their campaign.
