The Benkumhene of Gomoa Amanful, Nana Abena Etruba I, led a delegation of chiefs on a courtesy visit to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
The purpose of the visit was to pay respect and lobby for the welfare of her subjects.
During the meeting, Nana Etruba requested the establishment of a police station in Gomoa Amanful to enhance security and maintain law and order.
Dr. Dampare assured her of a positive response, promising to ensure that the community receives the necessary support.
Dr. Dampare emphasised his commitment to ensuring that law-abiding citizens and good people have the peace of mind to go about their daily lives.
He called for a renewal of mind among citizens to foster national development.
Nana Etruba praised Dr. Dampare for his positive reforms in the police force, acknowledging the impact on community policing.
She expressed gratitude for his dedecation and rebranding of the police-citizen relationship.
