The Awutu Bereku National Democratic Congress (NDC) Branch Youth Organiser, Emmanuel Appiah and his brother-in-law have been crashed to death at Senya Bereku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
The duo who were on motorbike collided with a taxi in front of Senya Bereku Senior High School (SHS) while returning to Awutu Bereku.
Information gathered suggests that, they were returning from the NDC manifesto launch in Winneba on Saturday when the incident occurred.
The taxi driver is also in custody at the Senya Bereku District Police Command assisting with investigations.
Mr Appiah was also the Vice Chairman for Awutu Bereku Okada Riders Association and Special Aide to Awutu Senya West Member of Parliament (MP), Gizellla Tetteh.
