Great Olympics have announced the immediate dissolution of their management and technical teams following their relegation from the Ghana Premier League.
The “Wonder Club” finished the season with 44 points, securing their return to the second tier for the first time since 2017. In response to this disappointing performance, the Board of Directors, led by Chairman Amarkai Amarteifio, made a clean sweep of the leadership.
This decision affects both the management team headed by Oluboi Commodore and the Technical team led by Jimmy Cobblah.
A temporary committee has been formed to oversee the club’s operations during this transition period. Lawyer Kwame Takyi, Kudjoe Fianoo, and the aforementioned Oluboi Commodore will be responsible for managing the club until permanent replacements are found.
The Board assures fans that they will “take all necessary steps” to ensure Great Olympics’ swift return to the Premier League. They will announce the permanent replacements for the Management and Technical Teams “in due course.”
