Thomas Partey scored a crucial goal as Arsenal clinched a thrilling win against their tricky opponents, Aston Villa, at Villa Park.
The game was a dramatic showcase of goalkeeping, with Arsenal’s David Raya making a stunning save from Ollie Watkins to keep the score level.
In contrast, Villa’s Emi Martinez made a costly error, allowing Partey’s shot to slip through his hands and give Arsenal a crucial two-goal lead.
Arsenal had been on the back foot, especially after Watkins missed a prime chance earlier in the match.
But after Raya’s superb one-handed save from Watkins and a shot from Amadou Onana hitting the bar, Arsenal took control.
Leandro Trossard scored with his first touch after coming on, and Partey’s goal 10 minutes later sealed the victory.

It was Partey’s first goal of the season, marking a sweet revenge after Villa’s double over Arsenal last season.
