A Deputy Director of Communication for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), George Krobea Asante, has claimed that the Akufo-Addo administration has fulfilled at 88% of promises the party made to Ghanaians during the electioneering campaign.
Krobea Asante shared this bold assertion during an appearance on the Angel Morning Show on Wednesday, July 14, 2024.
“As it stands, we’ve managed to implement about 88% of the promises we made to the people of Ghana….I’m not claiming that we’ve addressed every issue or solved all of Ghana’s problems, but we have tackled the majority of the challenges we identified,” he said.
In contrast, Krobea Asante criticized the opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for their lack of credibility in keeping campaign promises.
He pointed out that when reviewing the NDC’s 2012 manifesto, it becomes evident that they only fulfilled a mere 12% of their pledges.
