Former Trade Minister, Alan John Kyeremanten has entered into an alliance with former flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Abu Sakara Forster ahead of the 2024 elections.
The alliance which entails a combination of their individual movements will seek to break the NPP-NDC duopoly in Ghana’s politics.
A communique signed by Alan Kyeremanten and copied to GhanaNewsPage.Com read in part that their alliance which will commence after a press conference on April 17, 2024 will elect a formidable candidate capable of defeating Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of the NPP and John Mahama of the NDC.
“The alliance, named the ‘Alliance for Revolutionary Change’ will aggressively mobilize Ghanaians from across the country, particularly the youth and women, irrespective of their religious, political and ethnic affiliations, in a grand coalition to elect the first independent candidate as the President of the Republic of Ghana…,” the statement read in part.
