The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will likely not be holding big and major rallies to canvass for votes ahead of the 2024 elections, National Youth Organiser of the party, Salam Mustapha has disclosed.
According to him, the party’s top hierarchy arrived at this decision as part of the efforts to break the eight.
“Don’t be surprised if you don’t see the NPP holding big and huge rallies like we always did…we are adopting different strategies now…,” he disclosed in an interview on Angel Morning Show (AMS).
Salam Mustapha who recently arrived from a tour of the Ashanti Region said the NPP has adopted new forms of campaign strategies to outwit the NDC and other opposition political parties.
“We are not more interested in door to door campaigns…we have to let the people see what we have done for them in their various communities and areas so that thy vote base on the impacts of what we have done…,” he said.
The party headed by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, he added, will deploy its executives into various communities to drum home the achievements of Nana Akufo-Addo in the last eight years so they can benefit from votes from these communities.
